Easy to ignore problems in laboratory design

Laboratory area and instrument positioning problems: Before laboratory construction, the instrument positioning should be determined according to the working process of the laboratory, and the position of the instrument power supply and technical specification interface should be planned. According to the number of instruments and positioning to determine the required area of each area, the laboratory is divided into effective use of space. When the instrument is placed conveniently, the bearing problem of the ground should also be considered. The instrument manufacturer should provide the weight data of the instrument and consult the drainage system of the construction party. The equipment procurement bidding in the room has been completed before the construction of pure water treatment. The positioning design of the instruments is precise and accurate. The power cord and network cable exposed to the ground are very short, and the design scheme is safe and beautiful, saving space.

Laboratory power supply design: It is recommended that the laboratory be equipped with high-power uninterruptible power supply to provide protection for all equipment in the laboratory. Power supply protection is carried out for each equipment separately, which is difficult to maintain and wastes space. According to the conditions of laboratory equipment, determine the power and current parameters of the uninterruptible power supply. It should be noted that the selection of the uninterruptible power supply should reserve enough space for the development of the laboratory. It is suggested that the load power should be more than twice the total power of the existing instrument. The electrical plug can be designed on the wall or the ground according to the needs. The ground electrical plug should be waterproof to a certain extent. The position of the electrical plug should be close to the powered instrument, so that the ground wiring can be reduced to make the laboratory cleaner. Due to the heat dissipation and noise of the uninterruptible power supply, an independent power supply room is set up in the rear of the laboratory planning and a special drainage pipe is installed in the room.

Laboratory for laboratory design: Determine the appropriate water making equipment according to the pure water volume and grade required for full load operation of all equipment, and the suction pump capacity of the selected equipment should also be reserved enough space. The loudest air pump (to provide gas pressure for the automated pipeline) and water treatment instrument are placed in the central laboratory at the back of the independent water supply and drainage, pure water instrument leakage drainage directly connected to the laboratory pipeline, and set up in the room decoration, convenient to deal with a certain degree of leakage. In addition, two underground grooves were installed on the axis of the laboratory instruments, and the water supply and drainage lines were all laid underground.

Laboratory, intensity of illumination and noise control design: according to the requirement of waterproof 枟 biosafety laboratory room 枠 BSL ‐ 2 laboratory illumination is not lower than 300 lux, does not exceed 68 dB noise [6]. Before the air conditioning of the laboratory, the illuminance requirements of the laboratory were presented to the construction party. After the construction, the illuminance of the machine room was about 285 ~ 319 lux, and the illuminance of the core working area was about 375 ~ 384 lux, which basically met the construction standards of BSL‐2 laboratories. After taking measures such as construction independence, the ambient noise of the laboratory was significantly reduced, especially the decibel measured in the relatively independent core work area was basically the same as that in the ordinary consulting room.

Laboratory temperature and humidity requirements: Refer to the instructions to make statistics on the temperature and humidity requirements of the equipment in the automatic laboratory. If there is no special equipment, the temperature required by the clinical laboratory testing instruments is generally 18 ~ 30 ℃ and the humidity is 20% ~ 80%. The standard system can fully meet the requirements, and the temperature of the automatic laboratory can be controlled at (24 ± 2) ℃. Humidity 30% ~ 45%.

Communication interface problem: Sufficient telephone interface, LAN interface, and Internet interface should be reserved in the laboratory. The network connection of the automatic assembly line is complicated. Before installation, we should carefully discuss with the engineer of the manufacturer to determine the exact location of the network interface. After installation, we should sort out and connect the network cable to keep the laboratory clean and beautiful.
